Google Experiencing Indexing Issue with New Articles

Is Google experiencing an indexing issue with new articles? This is the question that would have struck many minds as many of us even don’t know about this problem yet because Google had cleared the issue swiftly before anyone could recognize it. This issue just happened on 11th Sep, 2020, around 3 PM PT. Several websites such as CNN, BleepingComputer, and others did not appear in the Google News search results with date filters. To make it quite clear for the users, the issue is already resolved. Let’s simply get our thought into this issue. This problem seemed to occur on the desktop version of Google News. But the Google News mobile app did not face any kind of this issue. When a huge number of major news publisher sites were checked, it was noticed that no new content had been indexed for the past few hours. Google also confirmed that it would look into the problem and resolve it as early as possible. It also added that it is quite unaware of the number of publications and users affected by this issue. Moreover, the problem might be with the filtering options in spite of having the content. An important point to be understood here is, neither users nor the web publishers can do nothing to overcome the indexing challenge. Not everyone, but maybe some of the news publishers would have noticed this affect their traffic reports. Mainly, all those whose content that have appeared in “Top Stories” would have disappeared. As a final note, Google has identified the issue on time and fixed it in no time.
