Google Launches' Accelerating Retail' Digital Marketing Training Program for Businesses in Europe

With the COVID-19 pandemic having created havoc around the world, most of the businesses are trying their hand on digital platforms to promote their products. Meanwhile, Google has launched a new program that aims to help European retailers increase their digital opportunities. According to a statement from Google, this summer, it had pledged to help around 10 million people and businesses in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to find jobs. Also, it will help those people and businesses to digitize and grow in the next 18 months. Google had also stated that the retail business in Europe alone would play an important role in recovering from the crisis. Google Launches 'Accelerating Retail' program that has been launched as pledged, has a range of product announcements and updates. The ultimate aim of this retails program is to help all retailers to get ready for the upcoming shopping season. Google is also working in a close partnership with local commerce and trade associations in various countries. Along with the retail program, Google has launched a new version of its “Grow My Store” tool that will provide advice about how SMBs can boost their digital presence. Any user can enter the URL of their business into the tool to get a customized report. Back in June, Google launched the tool “Digital Toolkit,” which also provides a custom report with recommendations depending on the provided business URL. And, now with Accelerating Retail launched, more updates are expected from Google in the near future.
