What To Do If Your Apple Airpods Won’t Charge Anymore: Tech Support
This is due to the advanced technology incorporated in the Apple products. Apple AirPods (wireless earbuds) are the hands-free in-ear headphones that ensure a noise-free audio listening experience.
Though it is advanced in technology, there are some common issues in the AirPods that are associated with most of the other wireless devices. If your Apple AirPods are not charging anymore, check their batteries first. With a single charge, you can use your AirPods for about 5 hours. But, if you have had your AirPods for years now, then definitely you would be having a bad time with your AirPods due to the draining issue.
There are three things you should consider while charging your AirPods.
1. Checking the lightning ports
Verify whether you have properly plugged the lightning to USB cable into the charging case and USB adapter.
Make sure that the power adapter is properly plugged into the wall outlet.
If you use a Qi-compatible charger, check whether the cable is correctly connected to the charger and wall outlet.
2. Charging your AirPods
Place the AirPods properly in the charging case and close the lid. Charge them for at least 15 minutes using the cable supplied with your AirPods during the first-time purchase.
While using a Qi-compatible charger, place the case with the status light facing up. The status lights will turn solid for a few minutes and turn off automatically while continuing to charge.
3. Checking the charge status
First, open the case lid (if it is opened with your AirPods inside) and hold it close to your iPhone or iOS device.
On your iOS device, a charging icon should appear next to the battery icon underneath AirPods.
